Residents congregate in our beautifully decorated lounges, library, and dining room. All residents have their own apartments, furnished to their personal taste, where they can unwind in privacy.​

Wells Apartments

The Wells Apartments are rental apartment homes for independent seniors ages 55+ who want privacy and security, within a community of friends and neighbors. Apartments feature one- and two-bedroom floor plans.

The Wells Apartments are adjacent to the Masonicare Health Center. Residents have the assurance of access to quality healthcare and support services from Masonicare whenever needed. In addition, residents enjoy easy access to the Center’s library, auditorium, convenience store, gift shop and Cornerstone Cafe plus a full calendar of events and activities.

The Kenneth B. Hawkins Apartments on the Masonicare Health Center campus in Wallingford are the perfect choice for today’s active, independent over-55 senior. The Hawkins Apartments have 36 spacious one- and two-bedroom apartments with modern kitchens and handicapped-adaptable baths.

The Leslie G. Wright Residence​

A healthy haven for qualified candidates. The Wright Residence is a licensed Residential Care Home on the campus of the Masonicare Health Center in Wallingford that offers wonderful apartment living to seniors 55 and over with limited income. We offer two types of payment options, private pay and the State Supplemental Cash Assistance Program.

The Wright Residence is an ideal option for those who don’t need 24-hour “hands-on” personal care, but may have health conditions that make it difficult for them to live alone. Here, you’ll find all the security and camaraderie that community living has to offer, without the responsibilities of home maintenance, food shopping, meal preparation, housework, or laundry.​

Services & Amenities

At Wright, we’ll do your vacuuming, dusting, and make your bed. We’ll take care of the shopping, cooking, and cleanup.

Enjoy our homey lounges where you can read, socialize, or take part in an event. Cook for yourself or friends and family in our fully applianced country kitchen. Or, get involved in any number of activities campus wide.

24-hour emergency response – If you need medical help, just activate your in-room emergency response system and it's moments away.

Masonicare Hearing Center – Full array of audiology services including hearing care, testing and hearing aids.

Rehab care on-site – Should the need arise, you have priority access to short-term rehabilitation units at the Masonicare Health Center. You can receive the care you need and then return to your apartment when you're ready. 

Regular transportation – Free convenient transportation picks you up and takes you to on-campus physicians and to referred specialists.

Priority admission – Here's the most reassuring part. As a resident, you'll have priority access, if needed, for in-patient admission.
